Design And Implementation Of Import Commodity Inspection Management System

Inspection for imported commodity requires complex domain knowledge and involves many decentralized organizations to collaborate.Usually this type of works needs to handle huge amount of data.According to the business flow and hardware/software requirements,this system adopts B/S as system architecture,.Net as programming language,PowerBuilder as object-oriented graphical interaction development tool and SQL Server as database.It will offer a suite of services,including web browsers,basing on the main Goods Inspection system,connecting with enterprise's own reporting systems,building an information platform to achieve a whole-process management.This paper mainly introduces the significance and background of the imported commodity inspection and supervision system,its technical architecture,functional architecture,database design analysis.This paper also explains the business process of the sub-system's reporting management system,including pre-entry management,acceptance management,statistical summary management,application qualification management and system maintenance management.Eventually we want to digitalize the whole imported commodity supervision system,to be able to centralize/decentralize each systems with technology and improve the level and efficiency for information-based management.
