Pharmaceutical supply chain traceability plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of medicines.In particular,in recent years,the demand for medicines in China has increased year by year,and the accompanying counterfeit and inferior medical products are increasing as well,such as the “Qi Er Medicine” incident in 2006,the “rabies vaccine” incident in 2008,and the Changchun Changsheng Vaccine Fraud incident in 2018,which have caused hugely harm to people's lives and health.Therefore,in order to ensure the safety of people's medications,and in conjunction with the 2016 State Drug Administration's regulatory documents on the establishment of a drug information traceability system,it is necessary for pharmaceutical supply chain companies to effectively track all kinds of drugs circulating in the pharmaceutical supply chain.Taking Guizhou Guangjitang as an example,this thesis proposes a pharmaceutical supply chain traceability platform based on blockchain technology to realize the traceability of its drug manufacturing and logistics process and to ensure a good and safe pharmaceutical supply chain environment.The major tasks in the thesis are presented as follows:(1)Business demands and functional analysis of pharmaceutical supply chain traceability.In view of the problems in the drug supply chain tracking,including the tampering of drug data,the isolation of information and services in the supply chain,and the circulation of counterfeit drugs and inferior drugs,this paper analyzes the case company's industrial chain structure and its business processes.For achieving the key elements of the quality tracking system in the business process,the functional data and non-functional data of the system are determined.The functional data will be stored in the onchain,and the non-functional data will be hashed and the data will be in the offchain.(2)Development of a blockchain gateway system for multi-source heterogeneous complex data in the supply chain.A blockchain gateway system is proposed for the data supply chain environment including multi-source heterogeneous complex.Blockchain gateways,together with existing IoT gateways,form a network interface that connects the world of physical manufacturing to the world of blockchains to standardize,analyze,control,and manage data and operations from the physical world to the world of blockchains.(3)Blockchain network construction and its key functional modules.Aiming at the different business characteristics of various stakeholders(suppliers,manufacturing companies,distributors,hospitals,etc.)in the pharmaceutical supply chain,a blockchainbased medical drug quality and safety tracking network was established to realize the roles of the pharmaceutical supply chain,including inter-information interaction and service integration,and based on the time-sequence relationship of drug data.It establishes a chain-based tracking method model to curb the circulation of counterfeit and inferior drugs and ensure multi-source heterogeneous complex supply chain data consistency underneath.(4)Prototype system development and functional simulation.In the development of prototype system,this paper adopts the interactive interface of JAVA language development platform,and realizes the partial tracking function,evaluation and early warning function of the drug supply chain.In the functional simulation based on Hyperledger Fabric platform,this thesis firstly uses qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods,comparing the traditional centralized tracking platform,web-based tracking platform,cloud-based tracking platform and proposed blockchain-based drug tracking platform.A multi-attribute evaluation was carried out to theoretically prove the effectiveness of the proposed blockchain platform.Based on the experimental simulation based on Hyperledger Fabric platform,it is proved that the consensus algorithm based on PBFT has good performance in the consensus process in terms of block generation and throughput delay.Therefore,the proposed platform is more efficient than Ethereum.
