Chinese literature embodies the common cultural imagination of the Chinese nation.On the one hand,it carries the mission of inheriting the fine traditional Chinese culture;On the other hand,it also shoulders the mission of spreading Chinese culture overseas.The Philippines is a region with a high degree of Chinese concentration,Philippine literature is an important part of the Chinese literature in the world.In the 1980 s,Philippine overseas Chinese literature took the newspaper supplement as its position and sought for development between the cracks.The "literature and art" supplement of the world daily is the earliest literary and art supplement founded by the Philippine and Chinese society.Its establishment has sounded the horn for the revival of the Philippine and Chinese literature and inspired the enthusiasm for literary and artistic creation of the Philippine and Chinese society.Later,many Chinese newspapers and periodicals also created their own literary supplements,which provided fertile ground for the growth of Philippine literature and art.The media has always been the principal forum for the publication of literary works.This paper attempts to explore the deep relationship between Philippine overseas Chinese newspapers and Philippine overseas Chinese poems creation from the perspective of communication theory,and discusses the poetry creation of Philippine Chinese in the context of supplement.On the one hand,using the theory of gatekeepers and newspapers and journals to explain the influence of editorial concepts on the trend of the literary and art works of the supplements.Taking the crane,who is both the editor and the author,as the breakthrough point,this paper explains the influences of his role positioning and dual identity on his promotion of the writing of Philippine overseas Chinese poems.This paper analyzes the influence of his practice in promoting cross-regional literary communication and supporting literary newcomers on the creation of Philippine overseas Chinese poetry.On the other hand,the paper uses the theory of "selective communication" and the communication idea behind it to identify the way of establishing the connection between "literary supplement" and " Philippine overseas Chinese poems ",and to solve the reason why "literary supplement" of world daily prefers poetry in selective communication and the way of poetry communication.That is to say,from the three levels of editors,authors and readers,explain the reasons why poetry is favored,and analyze the influence of supplements on the spread of Philippine overseas Chinese poems from the perspectives of revision and order reorganization,poetry albums,columns and “agenda setting".The influence of "literature and art" supplement on Philippine overseas Chinese literature represented by poetry is beyond doubt.This paper attempts to deeply understand what this influence is and how it is generated.In turn,the influence of Philippine overseas Chinese poems on the world daily is another issue to be discussed in this paper.On the basis of discussing these problems,this paper comes to the conclusion that the 1980 s can become a golden period in the development of Philippine overseas Chinese literature,which is inseparable from the prosperity of the literary world,the vivid and profound text,and the collusion and interaction between the media and literature."One Belt And One Road" is a great opportunity for global Chinese media development.This conclusion is of great significance for exploring an effective way to develop the interaction between overseas Chinese media and Chinese literature under the background of "One Belt And One Road",and for further discussing how to tell "Chinese story" well by Chinese media and how to write "Chinese story" well by Chinese literature.
