The elucidation of monks’ poems in Dunhuang Grotto is written by Wang Fanzhou that is published in2002. The book is about the monks’ poems in Dunhung. Earlier, in1993, he published The collection of monks’ poems in Dunhuang, which is the first book systematically records and classifies monks’ poems in Dunhuang. The elucidation is based on The collection, the writer adds some poems in the new book, and emend many mistakes in the old one. The new one and the old one complement each other. But, the new one is still not prefect.This paper sets The elucidation as the research object, and proofread the original Dunhuang volume. Then references The collection and many studies and works about monks’ poems in Dunhuang, and absorbs the latest research results. In order to enrich the area of the research on monks’ poems in Dunhuang, the study collects the volume and the record, and adds some new monks’ poems in it.
