With the development of power semiconductor technology,the applications in the communication,measurement and control,and countermeasures requiring high-power synthesis are becoming more and more popular.According to the principle of radar equation,high power is proportional to the detection range,so the acquisition of stable,reliable,high efficiency,low cost and high magnitude power is the key to the success of all equipment.From the perspective of power acquisition,the power of single semiconductor power device is smaller than that of the conventional vacuum tube system.In addition to the utilization of space power synthesis technology,the application of power synthesis directly on the circuits are increasingly required.The use of power splitting/synthesis to implement a combined structure power amplifier to achieve high power is an important way for semiconductor high-power devices.The performance of high-performance power splitter/synthesizer greatly affects the implementation of high-power devices,even affects the performance of the whole system.At present,combined with the application requirements of centralized solid-state transmitters,the research on broadband highpower low-loss power splitter /synthesizer has very practical engineering application significance.This research subject is based on the company's actual export product development needs,based on the learning and understanding of the principle of power splitter/synthesizer,combined with the actual demand characteristics of centralized solidstate transmitter,through the design,calculation,simulation and other methods,and conduct the general design of the power splitter/synthesizer,so as to confirm the framework of the power splitter and power synthesizer and carry out complete engineering research and development work.In the process of research and development,the test methods research were also carried out,and the actual tests such as normal temperature and environmental routine tests were carried out,and the efficiency of highpower synthesis was verified.The research subject combines the needs of actual radar products,and realizes 8-channel power splitter/synthesizer of S-band by means of power splitter and power synthesizer.The bandwidth exceeds 400MHz;the inband input peak power of the power splitter is up to 300 W,the insertion loss is less than 1.5dB,and the output separation between each channel is greater than 20dB;the combined output peak power of the power synthesizer is up to 15 Kw,the insertion loss is less than 1dB,and the other specifications as amplitude/phase consistency,etc.have reached application requirements.The power splitter/synthesizer is currently in stable use on the product.
