Design And Implementation Of Campus Network Management Platform Based On CACTI

As an important platform for school management and teaching and scientific research.the campus network plays an important role in maintaining the good operation of the school,which also in the interaction between teachers and students.Faced with continuous growth of network users and the increasingly complex network structure.the traditionalnet work management method cannot meet the campus management requirements.In order to solve these problems,based on the knowledge of network management,the paper aims to reduce the cost of the management platform,and reduce the development cycle.In combination with the management requirements of the campus network,the paper studies the campus network monitoring technology based on the open source software cacti.The main work of the thesis is as follows:(1)The paper introduces the background knowledge and research status of network management;The principle,architecture and main modules of open source cacti software are expounded.Then,I understand the middleware knowledge and related technologies needed for platform development.(2)According to the existing problems of campus network in colleges and universities,combined with object-oriented knowledge and modular design ideas,the demand analysis of campus network management platform was completed,the design objectives of the platform were proposed,the overall structure of the platform was detailed,and the main functional modules were described in detail.(3)The management platform of campus network based on open source cacti,which was realized by utilizing software engineering knowledge and analyzing content according to requirements.Firstly,the software required to build the platform is introduced.Then,the platform's storage system table and how to implemental the middleware.(4)Designed the test cases of the platform and tested the maim module functions;The test results show that,the campus network management platform realized conforms to the demand design.This paper designs and implements a campus network management platform,which based on cacti system,and the script plug-in can be loaded in the terminal page to obtain the data on the specified device.Then the data analysis and presentation tasks are completed by using the encapsulated middleware.At the same time,several common fault tracing and processing methods are proposed.The platform allocates different permissions to different users.The test results show that,the function of the campus network management platform designed in this paper meets the needs of campus network management.
