WLAN full name is Wireless Local Area Networks.Its advantages are fast speed,low price and flexible networking,At present,it is widely used in hospitals,shopping malls and other large organizations.WLAN as an important means of broadband access,its performance will dir ectly affect the quality of network services.Big data is A collection of data that can not be captured,managed,and processed by conventional software tools within a certain time range.Its characteristics are massive,high growth speed,various data types,and a wide range of applications.Because of the above characteristics,The processing of big data requires stronger decision-making power,sharp observation and process optimization capability.The core performance indicators of WLAN,such as network equip ment performance management,user behavior characteristics,user complaint processing,etc.,need to extract features from large data samples of WLAN and perform performance analysis.Therefore,building WLAN performance evaluation system based on big data is of practical significance.In this paper,WinPcap technology,Hadoop platform and clustering analysis algorithm are used to build a WLAN evaluation system.Several core performance indexes of WLAN that are mainly concerned by network operators are analyzed i n order to grasp the dynamic change of performance indexes in real time and accuratel y and provide convenience for manufacturers to expand in the future.The main work o f the paper is as follows:(1)WinPcap technology is used to collect massive data generated in WLAN.WinPcap is a network data packet capture and analysis platform based on Win32 platform.It has the characteristics of open source code,stable perfor mance and high efficiency.WinPcap can process complex and abundant data packets from the network.WinPcap technology is used to collect massive data from WLAN to realize the analysis and processing of big data.(2)Hadoop platform is designed to store data collected.Hadoop is a distributed system infrastructure,its distributed file system fault-tolerant performance is ver y good,can also be applied on low-grade hardware.Hadoop's high throughput can satisfy all kinds of data accessing applications,so it has the application ability of huge data sets.(3)Cluster analysis algorithm is applied to analyze and process WLAN big data.Cluster analysis is used to describe the massive data generated by WLAN,measure the similarity between different WLAN data sources,and classify the data sources into different clusters.(4)The WLAN core performance indicator evaluation system was constructed.The core performance indicators of WLAN that network operators mainly focus on are studied and analyzed,and user perception is evaluated through KPI data.The system makes full use of the advantages of cluster to carry out high-sp eed operation and storage,and improves the network perfor mance in terms of the convenience of resources and networking and the effect of transmission,so as to provide users wit h satisfactory services.
