Study Of WLAN System Optimization In Nanjing Unicom

WLAN performance depends mainly on three aspects:coverage, quality and capacity. The relationship between them is mutual restraint. The performance optimization of the WLAN access should make a choice based on user requirements, to ensure that the network performance can meet the needs of users. Therefor WLAN optimization must be considered completely.Based on the discussing the basic method of WLAN planning, this thesis focuses on the study of the coverage optimization, frequency optimization, parameter optimization and main network device optimization strategies and technical methods. The related main technologies are as the spread predict and cover design, the channel capacity and frequency configuration optimization, and the performance optimization of wireless access equipment. Combined with the practical work, the application methods of the interfere measurement and analysis software (Air Magnet Spectrum Analyzer), drive test and network optimization software (Yellow Jacket), and network performance analysis platform (Omni5) are described in this thesis, which are the software tools commonly used in network optimization.This thesis gives a number of campus network expansion and optimization instances to verify the correctness and effectiveness of the research work. The mentioned optimization method can realize the better effect of network optimization. The result is very useful to the WLAN construction.
