Study On Scaled Agile Framework And Its Applications In Software Enterprises

The software is very important in people's daily life.We cannot follow a modern life without it.However,there are still many risks in software development.Weak management and control of the risks can lead to poor software quality,and even the failure of the software development.The effective management and control to the software development process have been focused by software manufacturers all the world.The thesis explores the method to control the software production process that is suitable for W company.The company adopted the agile method for many years,and the whole company has unanimously recognized it.The company want to earn a Capability Maturity Model Integration(CMMI)appraisal rating to enforce the organization business development and expansion.However,with the development of the company,the limitations of the Scrum method for a single team have become increasingly inconsistent with the actual situation of the company.The CMMI appraisal rating deals with a number of process areas(PA),which cover the full range of enterprise capability maturity levels,and some of them are the process control PA.This paper examines how to scale the agile methods to the application development projects of multiple teams and entire enterprise to promote organization's productivity,thereby helping companies pass CMMI certification evaluation within expected time.This thesis studies the characteristics of various large-scale agile methods,and employs existing achievements of W company in Scrum,CMMI and other technologies and methods with an aim to extend the agile method to the goal of multi-team or enterprise-level application development projects,and proposes an architecture WSA/WLA that is suitable for W company agile extension.It adopts SAFe framework as the prototype,which is compatible with the effective methods and technologies accumulated by the company for many years in order to improve W company's software production quality.The WSA/WLA's practical activities in W company in the past showed that the implementation of WSA/WLA can achieve most of the expected goals of the company.Since WSA/WLA is the first attempt to solve the company's agile expansion,it is lack of capacity to solve all the problems of the company.There are more problems to be solve in the future to improve WSA/WLA.In addition,SAFe itself is constantly developing and improving,and WSA/WLA needs to be further improved as the application of SAFe framework in the W company.In future,we will confront more problems to be solved,and must continuously improve and perfect it to facilitate the development and growth of the company.
