Networking Application Of PTN In Communication Network

PTN(Packet Transport Network),is a kind of packet transport network model,is the new transmission network architecture,it inherits the operation,SDH technology and management maintenance mechanism(OAM),OAM system has perfect point-topoint connection,ensure the communication network has the protection switch,error detection and channel monitoring the ability to complete;interconnection with IP/MPLS in many ways,seamless bearing core IP business;network management system can control and set up a connection channel,realize the distinction and protection of the QoS,SLA has the advantages of flexible.It has a wide range of applications in the current communication network.In modern communication network,optical transport network is the direction in the future,whether it is TD-LTE or GPON broadband light from light transmission network,and packet optical transport network is the new trend of development;and PTN has the characteristics of All-IP,and All-IP is the future direction of the development of communication network,in the technology and network architecture the communications industry is actively update the related technology and its industry,as the leading enterprise of China Mobile company in the development of the 4G TD-LTE network under the trend,must rely on PTN transmission network to provide strong support for bandwidth.In this paper,the application of PTN in communication network is studied.First of all,according to the PTN network technology and its development trend analysis,elaborated on the PTN network structure,the relevant technical indexes of equipment;secondly,carrying on business PTN network service types were analyzed according to the demand of application,some problems and difficulties encountered in construction group were analyzed.It is pointed out that the PTN technological advantages compared to traditional SDH,PDH,and according to the actual engineering application gives the networking of PTN network structure and network structure;finally,to set up the PTN network,analyzed the network carrying capacity and network throughput.
