| With the wide application of infrared-guided weapons in military,the dynamic synchronous high frame rate,high gray scale,high resolution hardware in the loop simulation systems has been paid more and more attention by military powers.The core device of the hardware in the loop simulation system is the scene simulator.How to realize the dynamic and synchronous display of high frame rate and high grayscale images by the scene simulator without sacrificing resolution has always been the research direction of various scientific research institutions.In this paper,DMD is used as an infrared scene projection device.Under the condition of a certain DMD resolution,the relationship between the projection frame rate and the grayscale of DMD is studied,and DMD is driven to dynamically display high frame rate and high grayscale images.In order to achieve DMD dynamic synchronous display of high frame rate and high grayscale images.First,based on the basic display principle of DMD,the advantages and disadvantages of spatial gray modulation,frame gray modulation,and binary pulse width modulation are analyzed and compared.The method of "low bit plane cancellation" is used to optimize binary pulse width modulation.The above proves the feasibility of high frame rate and high grayscale image display of DMD.Then according to the modular design idea,the system is designed from the physical layer and the application layer.The external storage DDR2 SDRAM is used as the storage module of the system,which solves the problem that the internal storage of the system is small and can not meet the requirements of two frame data cache.The structure of FIFO_IN+DDR2 SDRAM+FIFO_OUT is adopted,and DDR2 SDRAM is set as read priority by using the programmable empty signal of FIFO_OUT to ensure the continuity of DMD loading data.On this basis,by analyzing the data flow of the system,the functions of each module are implemented on the system hardware platform according to the idea of modularization.By integrating the functions of each module,the dynamic synchronous display of DMD for images with resolution of 1024 × 768,grayscale of 8 bit and frame rate of 200 Hz is realized.At the end of this paper,according to the modular idea,the video input interface register configuration,bit plane splitting and bit width conversion,DDR2 SDRAM control,DMD drive control and the overall display effect of the system are debugged and verified.The results show that the DMD dynamic synchronous high frame rate projection system designed in this paper meets the design requirements. |
