Research And Implementation Of Continuous Casting System Based On PLC

Continuous casting technical is,during the produce flow of different kinds steel products in iron and steel industry,the process of solidification forming the liquid steel,solidify to continuous casting slabs.The continuous casting which slabs as final products,is slab continuous casting.The degree of automation is direct affecting the quality of casting slabs and the yield of rolling product.This text use the producing process of slab continuous caster automatically in some iron and steel plant as background,according to had a view in numerous related reference material literature of domestic and overseas,that detailed introduced the present statues and development tendency of control system of slab caster,etc.,to know about the real procedure producing requirement of slab continuous casting in this plant,adopt the PLC(programmable logic controller)theory,computer controlling technology,electric automatics technology and theory to analysis,study and design for the automatic controlling system of continuous caster.At present,the automatic system of slab procedure process in this plant still need operators to operate it based on the experience,manually operation and adjustment always affect the quality of produced slabs due to low precision,further decrease the yield of final product.In previous operation process,liquid steel leakage issue often happened,it also caused the caster stopped and line stopped,operation was compelled interrupt,bear the enterprise direct property damage and potential safety hazard,it also increased the workload and labour intensity of the inspectors,production and management of the enterprise under the influence.Aim at the problems above,the text study and design on the unfold of automatic system of continuous slab,it will improve product quality,remove production hidden danger,optimize working environment,decrease production cost,has important practical significance.Main content of designation generalize as below:(1)According to the requirement of continuous casting production operation,designed the controlling method for each producing process equipment of slab continuous casting.Accomplished property study on slab continuous casting system including ladle rotarytable,tundish car,mold,segment etc.,designed controlling method of equipment,be better to service for slab production operation process;designed hardware configuration of continuous casting automatic system.(2)The system adopt to step 7 of SIEMENS PLC procedure tool,configuration software adopt wincc7.0.It provides the function modes such as manual operation on site,manual operation in telnet,automatic in telnet and so on.To apply this system may accomplish the real production work of continuous caster safety,stable,efficiency on site,provide some reference value for the study and development of slab continuous casting automatic system.The automatic control system for continuous casting developed and designed in this paper has been successfully applied in the continuous casting workshop of Baotou Steel Rare Earth Steel Plant.The production practice proves that the system is stable and reliable,and the production efficiency is high.The slab produced is of good quality and meets the production process target.
