Presently, the non-disfigured slab and the high efficiency are the pivot of the production of the slab continuous casting. Study proved that the oscillation of the mould importantly effect on the yield and the quality of slab. Therefore, designing an on-line monitoring system for oscillation parameters of the slab continuous caster mould has practical value and important significance.This dissertation tables the DAQ Virtual Instrument project based on analyzing the research backdrop, the structure of the mould hydraulic oscillator and the non-sine wave. Additionally, the article goes into particulars the design of the software and hardware, also studies & discusses the optimization for the oscillation parameters of slab continuous caster mould in the sixth chapter.The successful experience of the former participants laid the foundations of the dissertation's accomplishment. Now, the system has accomplished the test & debug, and has been applied to the production of the slab continuous casting.
