TFT-LCD integrated gate drive refers to the gate driver IC function integrated into the LCD panel.LCD with integrated gate driver technology have the advantage of low cost and narrow border.In order to obtain better user experience and higher proportion of screen display area,the integrated gate driver technology has been widely used in intelligent mobile terminal TFT-LCD.The extensive use of mobile terminals and battery-powered features also place high demands on the high and low temperature reliability and power consumption of LCD.In this dissertation,we summarize the basic working principle and the main driving architecture of the liquid crystal display.Based on this,we explain the functional components of the amorphous silicon gate driver and explain the technical points of the design of the amorphous silicon gate driver.In this paper,the simulation model of amorphous silicon devices was extracted by UTMOST software by measuring the characteristic curves of amorphous silicon devices at room temperature and low temperature,and the SPICE simulation method of the amorphous silicon gate drivers was summarized.The paper analyzes the influencing factors of high temperature driving stability of amorphous silicon gate driver,and proposes a more stable ASG circuit by improving the pull-down of P node of amorphous silicon gate driver.The reliability of the ASG circuit is verified.The thesis analyzes the power consumption components of the amorphous silicon gate driver and proposes an ASG circuit to improve the leakage current power consumption.The actual verification shows that it can save 10-15 mW of power.The design of the liquid crystal panel based on the above gate driver low-temperature simulation method can meet the requirements of low-temperature operation reliability;the design has completed the high-reliability ASG circuit liquid crystal panel and has passed the verification of the high-temperature operation reliability;the design completes the low power consumption ASG circuit liquid crystal panel which can save power 10 ~ 15 mW.The result shows that the application requirements of the smart mobile terminal are satisfied.
