With the gradual maturity of industrial wireless technology, industrial networks begin to upgrade from wired networks such as Bus and Ethernet to wireless networks such as WIA-PA(Wireless Networks for Industrial Automation Process Automation)and ISA100.11 a.WIA-PA,an industrial wireless international standard developed by china, has got wide recognition in industrial control fields for its outstanding advantages in reliability,real-time and low power consumption. However, due to the wide range of production areas and limited wireless network coverage,it remains necessity to adopt wireless and wired hybrid networking to connect several industrial wireless WIA-PA network for the sake of achieving large-scale factory networks interconnection. The development of intelligent factory places higher requirements for industry management in flexibility, which makes the integration management for WIA-PA networks and backbone networks becomes an urgent problem.Meanwhile,SDN(Software Defined Network)technology, which has been widely investigated in Internet fields,is expected to provide solutions in industrial integration management utilizing its centralized management architecture and programmable software. However,it is hard to apply the centralized management mode of SDN in industry directly since there are great differences in communication mechanisms for WIA-PA network and backbone network.Motivated by these, the thesis designs a SDN-based integration management mechanism for WIA-PA network and backbone network. The main works of this thesis are as follows:1.The WIA-PA network access mechanism and the resource allocation technology of industrial backbone network are analyzed. The problems to be solved for the application of SDN in WIA-PA network and backbone network management are summarized.2.A integration management method based on SDN is proposed. This method can realize the network access and cross-network communication of WIA-PA network and backbone network through abstractly integrating the management functions of the two networks in the SDN control layer.Besides,a cross-network transmission method based on queue priority, which maps the priority of industrial network data with the priority of transmission queue of switch,is designed to ensure the efficient transmission of cross-network data in industrial backbone network.3.A set of northbound interfaces with characteristics of industrial network is designed, and the communication resources of WIA-PA network and industrial backbone network are uniformly arranged to realize the opening of integration management function to the application layer,so as to meet users' requirements for monitoring and management of the underlying industrial network.4.A integration management software based on SDN is developed to realize the network registration, topology discovery, resource allocation,cross-network management and other functions of WIA-PA network and backbone network. The software also provides the northbound interface service of deep configuration industrial network to the application layer.5.The test system is built to analyze the function and performance of SDN-based WIA-PA network and backbone network integration management mechanism. Then conclusions of experiment results are given. The results show that the SDN-based integration management mechanism can achieves the network access management, resource allocation and cross-network management for WIA-PA network and backbone network, and has the ability to provide the northbound interface service of industrial network to the application layer. The research work of this thesis is valuable for the realization of unified interconnection of large-scale factory networks by using SDN technology.
