| With the increasing number of unearthed literatures,the demand for the inheritance of clinical medicine and traditional Chinese medicine culture is also growing.The collation of Chinese ancient medicine books has become an indispensable part of the future of traditional Chinese medicine,however,the recognition of folk characters is one of the major obstacles.At the same time,the 21 st century is an era of informatization.Traditional ancient books face many challenges due to their limitations.Scholars have begun to search for new ideas and methods of ancient books from the digital direction.Among them,"Thousand Golden Prescriptions " is a comprehensive collection of ancient medical works of all ages,whose original text was lost very early." Zhenben Qianjin Fang",the earliest version of its existence,contains enormous folk characters and has a very high reference value.At present,no scholars have done research and digitalization of its folk characters.To this end," Zhenben Qianjin Fang" is selected as the representative of ancient medical books in this paper,and the way of emendation,exegesis and linguistics is implemented to tease out,classify and systematically describe these folk characters as much as possible.A searchable library of folk characters and retrieval system of ancient medical books are created pertinently.In this paper,based on a certain understanding of the basic outline of the " Thousand Golden Prescriptions”,the folk characters was considered as the main study object.Four popular textual research of folk characters had been applied comprehensively to identify661 pairs of the relations between the correct and folk character existing in " Zhenben Qianjin Fang",which then being made into a complete list of folk characters.In order to solve the difficulty of input and entry of a large number of fork character patterns,the new word-making method was adopted,the picture of the original character was extracted,and the character patterns were processed and encoded by the word-making software,digitizing 692 underplayed characters,including the folk characters.The foundation for the development of library of folk characters and full-text retrieval system was then formed.After that,starting from the ontology of philology,and drawing on the classification method of Mr.Zhang Yongquan's folk characters,the folk characters in "ThePure Text of Thousand Golden Prescriptions" were divided into Nine categories,each of which was illustrated by typical example to explain the formation mechanism,reasons and foundations behind the folk character pattern.At the same time,30 generic cases of folk characters were teased and summarized to explore and examine the general rules behind the folk characters.Through comparing and emendating the three existing main versions of “Thousand Golden Prescriptions”,the original appearance of "The Pure Text of Thousand Golden Prescriptions" was restored as much as possible.A true retrieval system of traditional medical books based on " Zhenben Qianjin Fang" has been designed.Through the realization and testing of the functions of chapter retrieval,word environment statistics and association between true and folk character,a quick browse of the full text of ancient books could be completed as required.When confronting the fold words that cause trouble in reading,the corresponding true characters could be linked accordingly by copy and paste or direct input,which eliminates the drawbacks of the functions absence of character retrieval and character association caused by the replacement of the folk words with graphics of past ancient medical books retrieval platforms.The research of the folk characters of " Zhenben Qianjin Fang" could clarifiy some of the obstacles in the collation and proofread of ancient Chinese medicine books.The development of library of folk characters and retrieval system of ancient medical books could also provide a certain templates and examples can be used for reference for the digitalization of related ancient books. |
