In the printing register process,the register errors are caused by the tension disturbance caused by the web paper during the paper conveying and continuing.The information of register errors can be acquired in real time by image sensing.The research and development of automatic register control system based on image sensing can not only detect the register errors on production line,but also provide inputs for the registration control system.In this thesis,the image sensing technology for printing registration of water-based ink in the cigarette package is taken as the research object,and the image acquisition technology and the image processing technology are studied.Aiming at the problem of low precision of water-based ink detections in the traditional photoelectric sensor automatic register control system,this thesis tries to improve the image quality of the water-based ink and provide a good data source for image processing research by choosing suitable optical system such as camera,lens and light sources.Then,the principles of smear for high-speed object imaging is described in detail,and an experimental scheme using stroboscopic light source as camera shutter is proposed to effectively reduce the smears of high-speed object.Finally,the image processing technology is used to analyze and process the high quality image data acquired in image acquisition technology,including image filtering and enhancement,image edge extraction,image segmentation and other algorithms,and calculate the register errors.Based on the above theoretical and experimental analyses,a cigarette label automatic register control system based on image sensing is completed.The experimental results show that the automatic register control system based on image sensing improves the detection accuracy of water-based ink compared with the traditional photoelectric sensor automatic register control system.
