The image of the city is known as the engine of urban development.A good image of the city can play a role of centripetal force,attracting various resources such as capital and talents,and even form regional radiation to promote regional development.The development of the city image must adapt to the real social situation and be constantly updated and upgraded with changes in the environment.The Internet has grafted numerous paths for the world,breaking the barriers between real space and virtual space.The physical space represented by the city has been merged with the mimetic space formed by the media to form a new urban landscape.The public uses new media as the medium.Participating in the act of integrating space,this not only ushered in a new opportunity for the development of the city image,but also injected new vitality into the development of the network public domain.The multi-integration of new media technologies and dissemination of content has completely updated the shaping of urban image.On the one hand,the Internet has broken the boundaries between communicators and audiences.People can not only participate in the shaping of city image,but also at the center.Urban space experience,urban story narrative and urban connotation construction,on the other hand,through the new media to provide the public with a new public discourse situation,essentially providing people with an interactive platform of free and fair discourse communication,namely public discourse space.From the perspective of civilians,using new media as a carrier to construct a new multi-dimensional image of Xi'an new city through public discourse space can be regarded as one of the urban image shaping paths under the Internet era.This article starts from the elements of the network public domain.In combination with the characteristics of media technology,the new paradigm of urban image shaping is explored according to the process of public domain action.The short video of Xi'an image in the vibrato APP is selected as a sample,and the summary of the video theme,click volume and communication effect in the sample is summarized.Analysis of the image of Xi'an city.Summarize how Xi'an uses the public domain of the Internet to update the one-dimensional image created by traditional propaganda methods into a multi-dimensional image created by public dialogue.However,even if this development mode gains certain benefits in the short term,there are still many problems.We must realize that in the network,the spread of the city image must put the public at the center and be driven by the development of technology.Selecing communication strategies that conform to the pace of social development,and finding points of transmission which overcome barriers to communication,and achieve effective dissemination and continuous renewal of urban image.
