City image is the overall impression,comprehensive perception and complete evaluation of the public,and the evaluation and perception of the public on the city not only depends on the physical environment of the city,but also depends on the shaping of the media to a large extent.The definition of the city image extends to a broader level with the development of new media technologies,including not only the physical environment of the city,but also the image of the city constructed on various media platforms.With the development of mobile internet technology,the public has higher requirements for the expression and experience of the network platform.The traditional text,pictures and voice can no longer meet the growing individualized expression needs of people.Short video,as a representative of new media,combines multiple expressions of video,music and text.Based on smart phones,it can quickly complete shooting,editing and uploading,and share in real time.Therefore,short videos quickly become more and more popular among younger generations.As the best of the short video platform,the Tik Tok app has created one web celebrity city after another.The producers of these short videos participated in the scene and strengthened the details that were ignored in the city.Therefore,some unknown small scenic spots exploded in popularity again,and the popularity of some featured activities and snacks soared.This form creatively characterizes the urban space in which it is located,redefining the city image and urban space.Therefore,this paper decided to take the short video of Wuhan on the Tik Tok platform as an example,trying to explore the shaping effect of short video on the image of the city by using the research method of communication across urban studies and communication between the two different fields of study,to explore the short video role in shaping the image of the city,to the new media environment how to improve the city image dissemination of and carry out efficient provide certain reference in practice.In the introduction part,the author expounds the research background,research significance and theoretical basis of this paper.At the same time,it systematically sorts out the existing research status at home and abroad,hoping to fully absorb the experience and stand on the shoulders of predecessors.The first chapter mainly introduces the development history and platform characteristics of Tik Tok short video.Through combing the product positioning,function analysis and communication process of Tik Tok,it summarizes the three periods of Tik Tok development覧the stagnation period,the promotion period and The maturity of development,as well as the four platform features of Tik Tok覧fast-paced fragmentation,strong social attributes,low creative threshold and accurate algorithm recommendations.In the second chapter,the author summarizes the development and dissemination of the short video of the city image on the whole Tik Tok platform.Currently,there are hot style cities on the platform,but there is a big gap between hot style cities and non-hot style cities.Hot style cities are also different in regional distribution,and the central city of wuhan has a lot of room for development at present.In addition,through the analysis of the short video of the top 100 explosions in the city,the content and characteristics of the short video of the explosion city are summarized.The third chapter focuses on the analysis of the image of Wuhan city in the shaping of the Tik Tok platform.Firstly,it summarizes the four symbolic carriers of short video to shape the image of Wuhan city覧urban music,local food,landscape,and technology facilities.In the second section of this chapter Using the content analysis method,the author selects 15 representative short videos of Wuhan city landscape as the text,and analyzes the short video to shape the image of the city覧highlighting the subjectivity of people in urban space,depicting the details neglected by the mainstream and short video production of sub-cultural style.In the third section of this chapter,the author selected two typical short videos in Wuhan,obtained the complete video comment text in the programming language,and conducted sampling analysis on the comment text to obtain users' feedback on video communication content,so as to study the communication and construction of short video on city image.The fourth chapter mainly studies the future development of urban image building.It is true that short video contributes to the communication of urban image,but it also exposes some problems.The future urban image building requires the cooperation of the government,users and the platform to build a more scientific,regular and diversified communication path.
