Research On Measurement Evaluation Of OA Papers Influence From Altmetrics Perspective

The rise of Altmetrics is partly due to the limitations of current citation-based indicators in traditional metrology studies.On the other hand,it is due to the new science and technology evaluation perspective brought about by the online academic exchange environment.The rise of new environments,new tools,and new technologies has provided new data,methods,and applications for scientific measurement.It not only can compensate for the lack of traditional metrology,but also can develop new indicators and new models for scientific research evaluation.The combination of big data and metrology is the main trend of science and technology evaluation.The impact of big data is entirely new and comprehensive.Altmetrics provides a richer resource for evaluation index data for metrology research.The current OA thesis on the Internet platform is even more abundant.The literature survey found that the assessment of the influence of the measurement community on OA papers has not been involved.Altmetrics's standardization and openness are in line with the evaluation of OA papers.The dissemination data of OA papers in the network platform can support Altmetrics evaluation research through its openness and API standardization to some extent.Therefore,this paper attempts to use Altmetrics to evaluate the impact of OA papers.First of all,this paper summarizes the impact evaluation methods and existing deficiencies of citation-based traditional papers.Based on this,it compares and analyzes the similarities and differences between Altmetrics citations and citation analysis.Then,by referring to the classic diffusion theory of diffusion in communication science,an online life cycle model of OA papers is constructed to clarify the mechanism of influence of OA papers in the process of network communication.Based on the three-dimensional model of the concept of information quality,combined with the phased characteristics of the online life cycle process of OA papers,the three measurement dimensions of the impact evaluation of OA papers are summarized,namely,perception measurement,interaction measurement and citation measurement,and thus build on the basis of online Life cycle OA papers influence measurement evaluation model.Finally,the OA papers in the field of information and computational sciences in the PLOS ONE journals were selected for empirical analysis,and a measurement evaluation index system for OA papers' influence was further constructed.The research results have certain reference and reference significance for the formulation of quality control standards for OA thesis,the perfection of the review mechanism and the construction of OA platform.
