Research Of Papers Influence Evaluation Based On Altmetrics

Academic papers play an important role in the whole process of scientific research and technological development;it is not only an important carrier of academic exchange and knowledge sharing,but also the basis of scientific evaluation at different levels,such as talent,organization and achievement evaluation,therefore,it is necessary to evaluate the value of the paper reasonably.The traditional papers evaluation often use the citation frequency and impact factor of the Journal,but delayed longer,and has cited Matthew effect and other limitation,and journal impact factor for the evaluation of a paper influence is not enough to be convincing.With the rapid development of the social network,a variety of online literature sharing and evaluation model,as well as a variety of academic communities emerged,academic exchange model also shifted from offline to online.The social network era,highlighting the social influence,and in some cases,the social influence of the paper is more important than its academic influence,and the traditional single evaluation methods cannot effectively evaluate the social influence,so we must actively explore the other new evaluation method.In recent years,with the rise of Altmetrics,the academic influence and social influence have been taken into account in the evaluation of the thesis.This paper attempts to evaluate the influence of paper by Altmetrics method.First,this paper summarizes the main influencing factors,methods and shortcomings when using traditional evaluation methods.Then provides an overview of the Altmetrics,and discusses the advantages and feasibility when evaluating the influence of papers with Altmetrics.On this basis,the paper mechanism of the influence was analyzed,the influence is divided into three dimensions: perceived degree,social influence and academic influence,then the Altmetrics index is summed up in three dimensions,through the analysis of correlation,reliability and validity,the indexes of each dimension were screened,then,determine the weights of the indexes in each dimension and the calculation methods of each dimension,and to explore the relationship between the various dimensions,finally construct the evaluation papers influence three-dimensional measurement method.Finally,the paper uses the method of three-dimensional measurement to analyze the influence of the paper,is divided into ordinary classes,professional class,star class,star-professional class and five categories,and five kinds of the characteristics are analyzed.The general thesis contributes little to the future work,professional papers have higher professional,star-professional is not only a hot spot,but also a high degree of professionalism,music class paper is the key thesis in the field.This paper is one of the research achievements of the project Quantitative analysis and comprehensive evaluation on academic impact of international papers published by Chinese scholars,which is the humanities and social science fund project of the Ministry of education,the project number is 16YJA870011.
