APP Information Architecture And Interactive Design For Aging Industry Serving The Elderly

In recent years,the needs of elderly users and the development of aged industries are receiving increasing attention.Scholars have carried out research on the elderly and the population aging from various aspects.The research outcomes in many fields such as medicine,psychology and sociology have emerged in large numbers,but there are relatively few outcomes on APP information architecture and interaction design for the elderly and the aged industry.In this paper,the information architecture is taken as the research foundation and the starting point,and the status that the elderly use APP is analyzed.Then,it is guided by the relevant theories and application methods of information architecture to study the information architecture required by the APP of the elderly.Through the research data of the elderly,such as the psychological characteristic and the behavioral characteristic,the characteristics of the information architecture of the APP suitable for the elderly are demonstrated.Finally,the conclusions of the two parts are summarized and concluded.The information architecture and interaction design principles of the APP of the elderly are summarized: It is necessary to combine accuracy with fuzziness in the organizational system of the information architecture;the memory burden is minimized through the tree structure;the design of the fuzzy organization system is considered in interaction design;the information acquisition is visualized;the hierarchical style of the information architecture is unified.It is an APP for the aged industry in the principle to serve the elderly.Through literature review,questionnaires and interviews on the current situation of the use of APP by elderly users,the paper analyzes related products,explores the operating characteristics,thinking patterns and existing problems of elderly users when using APP,and analyzes and collates data.Based on different perspective,an APP information architecture model suitable for the elderly groups is established.And according to the feature model,we sort out various problems encountered by the elderly users when using the APP,and propose targeted solutions to further improve APP design,researching the information architecture and interaction design of the aged industry APP serving the elderly.The results of this study not only provide the reference for the design of the aged industry APP,but also further enrich the research in related fields.
