Design Of Automation Test System For Network Device Base On Tcl

From 14th of February of 1946,the first computer named ENIAC made University of Pennsylvania required by United States Army,which marks the computer era is coming.The birth Internet which lead the human civilization to a new age,it accelerates the global integration,it also brings a grate change in people's work and life.A lot of the Applications based on computer and network occurs,while the knowledge of the people is improved,people for the quality of application are getting higher and higher.As the software testing is one import part of the software industry,it's becomes more and more import day by day.Today the network existing everywhere,all kinds of device include in the network.Router acts as a very import role in the complex network.As the core device in the network,it has powerful function,it's performance decide the stability and reliability of the network directly.So,it's a huge project of testing the router,not only need to face the variety of the network environment,it also the deal with a high loading which generate by multiple users.To these peculiarity,the engineers need to execute a lot of repeatability and compatibility testing,high loading performance testing,stability testing and so on.It consumes large human and time cost of the traditional manual testing,during the long and boring testing period,the testing efficiency and quality declines as time goes on.The auto testing the new born test method could fill the gap in the traditional manual testing,this new test method improve the test efficiency significantly,provide the reliability for router during using.Base on the peculiarity of router,the paper does the deep analysis of requirement,take the advantage of auto testing,pick out some of the requirements which suit for the auto testing design,according to these requirements to develop an auto testing system based on Tel program language which is portable,extensible and readable.During design this system,get the information of background of at home and abroad.Deep study the protocol and technology relate the system,according to compare then chose the suitable program language,auto test framework and something related.This paper also introduces the design of the architecture and each module as well as the realization process.Using this designed system execute the function and perfonnance test,compare the result to prove this system is helpful,compare with the result execute by traditional manual testing,this auto testing system saved lots of the human and time cost,enhance the test efficiency,achieve the goal of auto testing.
