A Wdm Networks Automatic Testing Methods And Systems Research

In order to adapt the new standard and high request of communication, multifarious new products and technologies come out in the optical transmission network. Because of the serious market competition, the period of exploitation becomes much shorter and shorter and the products become much more and more complicated and intellectualized. Test technology and systems have to improve themselves to catch up with this situation. The improvement of tesing technology and automatization of testing equipment will greatly increase the speed and efficiency of product testing, which also can bring remarkable effect to the whole quality, cost and period of exploitation. As a result, research on auto-test technology and system has become a big project to all companies internal and abroad.The technology and principle of auto-test, the universal model and realization have been studied firstly in this dissertation. Based on this, an auto-test method and system on WDM NE has been proposed in this dissertation and the software part of this system has also been realized. During the process of design and realization of the WDM-ATS, the main work is as follows:Based on the research of auto-test technology and system, point out that intelligentization and networking of the auto-test system are the new hotspot of testing area.Research on the auto-test system on SDH NE; analyze its frame structure and working flow.Due to the characteristics and test requests of WDM NE, propose an auto-test method and system, which are fit for WDM NE. Further more, point out its hardware composing and connecting method, and the relationship of its software arrangement.Present the work principle and program language of WinRunner, which is a software auto-test tool, and then make it work as the software-supporting module in WDM-ATS.
