Short video is a new form of network audio-visual program that rises with the popularity of smart phones and the rapid development of mobile Internet in recent years.Mobile short video,an emerging Internet social language,organically combines text,sound and images.In the form of short video,it meets users' expression and social needs in a more intuitive and comprehensive way.In a number of short video applications,Tik Tok with its "music+ short video+ social" innovative play and positioning,capture hundreds of millions of users,become one of the best.Young women have been the backbone of short video users,especially short video publishers.They use short video,an Internet social tool,to form a remarkable new media communication phenomenon through diversified self-expression and physical practice such as action,language and performance.This paper focuses on the physical practice of short video users and examines their use behavior from the perspective of culture.Based on the classical theories such as media making theory and symbolic capital theory,this paper investigates the reality show short video in Tik Tok short video.On the basis of text analysis,it concretes the view to the symbol,text and discourse analysis in short video to grasp the subject construction from the aspect of discourse representation.Study found that women in a short video training practice,the Tik Tok media space customized to meet the requirements of their own way or manipulation of their self-expression,with medium of impression management and virtual avatar means to construct the ideal mediate self,which not only a spiritual sustenance,but also meets their needs for self-expression and socialization,and gains feedback in the evaluation of others,affecting the self In addition,women express themselves in short videos by means of actions,lines,expressions,camera language,matches,music and other carriers.Through the selective learning and imitation of others' video,they construct the female discourse mechanism.Furthermore,users also accumulate their own symbolic capital in being noticed and recognized.On the one hand,the symbolic capital of recognition can bring cultural prestige to them,be respected,praised and recognized by others and society;on the other hand,it can also be converted into economic capital,namely realization.
