Digital technology, Internet technology opens up new ways of traditional media for the production, dissemination and use of information, and gradually become the mainstream way of the moment, the profound impact of modern life. The new technology has brought the growing resources of a large number of media content, which is changing the entire media industry’s prospects. China’s new media face showing a prosperous and thriving, pregnant with great investment value. In recent years, the international venture capital institutions have set foot in China’s new media market, not only to promote the commercialization of new media in China, the market process, while achieving self-development of the venture capitalists and capital appreciation.In this paper, a theoretical description of the right investment decisions at the same time, focusing on analysis of the feasibility of the new media venture investment. Paper aims to risk investor’s point of departure, the status quo through the analysis and study of new media, there is the problem, the application of relevant theories and methods, a practical solution for the problems countermeasures, risk for future investors in the new media a reference for investment. In more concrete terms, first of all, the concept of new media for a definition, and describes the main types. Second, the analysis of new media presence status and future trends, standing on the investor’s point of capital into new media companies will take into account the various issues summarized. In response to these problems, and related decision-making theory, to explore and study how to control risk in the moderate range on the basis of the model for effective analysis, the introduction of specific cases to verify the model of scientific and practical. Finally, we summarize the theory and examples of the previous investors into the new media enterprises make a few suggestions for easy reference.
