High voltage transmission line is the important facilities of power system, as the core of power grid, its safety and reliability with respect to entire power system stability. The smart grid requires online monitoring system bring in video surveillance technology, to achieve the goal of real-time monitoring to high voltage transmission line. High voltage transmission line is usually located in a sparsely populated field, video data transmission way should be appropriately selected according to the principles of reliability and economy. In order to ensure video data security during transmission, to prevent leakage or steal, need to take a series of encryption measures. Current achieved video surveillance system need staff on duty for long-term monitoring, it leads to restricted efficiency of monitoring system and the lack of intelligent diagnostic function, urgent need to introduce intelligent video analysis technology to improve the realibility and efficiency of high voltage transmission line real-time monitoring.This thesis focuses on researching and analyzing the application of intelligent video analysis technology in high voltage transmission line real-time monitoring, the main contents include:(1) Analyzed advantages and disadvantages of various ripped intelligent video pre-process algorithms and their application range, selected the superior pre-process algorithms as the base of intelligent video process algorithms which proposed in this thesis;(2) Researched abnormal features of high voltage transmission line with its environment and their manifestations in video surveillance, established mathematic models of transmission line in the video image, proposed corresponding intelligent video treatment measures;(3) Proposed object extraction algorithm based on adaptive threshold values, identification algorithm based on subtraction and texture features, improved template matching algorithm and linear interpolation algorithm based on eigenvalue nodes. Algorithms can reduce complex environment interference of high-voltage transmission line to identification, apply to transmission line ice cover, disconnection, construction machinery invasion, sag off-limited and other abnormalities in intelligent video surveillance, improve the monitoring system reliability, and realize real-time alarm;(4) Used Java to implement intelligent video surveillance system, verified real-time alarm function of high voltage transmission line abnormalities about transmission line ice cover, disconnection, construction machinery invasion, sag off-limited and others. Experimantal results show that algorithms which proposed in this thesis have good real-time and robustness.New proposed intelligent video process algorithms and intelligent video surveillance system in this thesis, promote the development of online monitoring system towards fault diagnosis and condition-based maintenance, and lay a good foundation for real-time, automation and intelligent of power grid.
