In the age of information,new generations of video represented by high-definition(HD),ultra high-definition(UHD),etc.,bring high-definition video enjoyment while at the same time due to massive data information,resulting in picture delays,stalls,and other issues.Need more efficient video compression,faster bandwidth to achieve real-time video transmission,high-definition display and convenient storage.Due to the limitation of bandwidth enhancement,the transmission of massive amounts of video over a limited bandwidth channel can only be achieved through video compression methods.This article focuses on the key technology of real-time transmission of high-definition video coding —— how to achieve real-time transmission of high-definition video through video encoding software compression algorithms.While improving the definition of the traditional standard definition video to the high-definition video,it also needs to improve the real-time performance of the transmission,making the video smooth and non-stopping and satisfying the visual experience of the majority of users.At present,embedded systems have been widely used in video processing and have achieved multimedia video acquisition,compression,network transmission and decompression,and display.DSP becomes the first choice,and it can quickly process video coding with hundreds or even thousands of Millions of MIPS(Million Instruments Per Second),providing a hardware platform for high-definition video quality transmission systems.In the platform construction,firstly the hybrid coding framework and its key technologies are studied.At the same time,the frameworks,basic principles and key technologies of H.264/AVC and H.265/HEVC,two generations of video coding standards are studied.Afterwards,the high-definition video encoding real-time transmission system uses a high-definition camera set for video capture.The TMS320DM6467 T core hardware testplatform adopts the H.264/AVC video coding standard for video encoding to achieve compression,and the TMS320C6678 core hardware test platform uses H.265/HEVC video.The coding standard implements video coding to achieve compression,and a VSC8641 core chip is used to construct a transmission channel to realize real-time transmission over Gigabit networks.Design,experiment,analysis and comparison of the HD video real-time transmission system.The results show that the HD video real-time transmission system has different video compression ratios and quality at different resolutions and frame rates,and the system using the H.265/HEVC video coding standard has doubled the compression ratio compared to the H.264/AVC.The H.264/AVC compression ratio is 150 times,and the quality is clearer.Provides technical and theoretical support for its rational use.
