As people's requirements for control systems become more stringent,the traditional 4-20 mA signal cannot provide all the information needed by the user,and the emergence of fieldbus devices has fully solved this problem.This type of equipment has been rapidly applied to various fields with its all-digital,two-way multi-variable communication method.This paper analyzes the characteristics and development status of fieldbus devices and fieldbus device management systems.The research content mainly involves fieldbus technology and device description technology in the field of automation.On the basis of considering the development of fieldbus protocol is not uniform,choose to develop fieldbus device management system based on HART communication protocol.This paper has achieved the following results.1.Analyzed the characteristics of the HART protocol,and designed two device management modes,namely the general mode and the dedicated mode,to ensure that the system can meet the basic operation requirements of the user without the device description file provided by the manufacturer.2.The device description language(EDDL) specification was studied for the specific mode.The EDDL parser was designed and developed independently,which can successfully parse the EDD file,which can reduce the development cost required by the system to a certain extent,and the flexibility.Relatively high,you can design a specific data storage structure and interface control layout according to user needs.3.Designed the management software program supporting the HART communication protocol,which can ensure the normal communication with the device regardless of the presence or absence of the EDD file,thereby realizing the digital management of the device supporting the HART communication protocol type,and capable of completing the monitoring device.Real-time parameters,and alarms for abnormal conditions of the device.4.The implementation of the system software is carried out.The overall architecture of the system adopts the structure of C/S mode,which mainly includes the installation of equipment,the creation of engineering projects,the management and interaction of servers and clients,and the exchange of information between servers and databases.Finally,the function and performance of the system are tested to prove that the system can meet the actual needs and achieve centralized management of the fieldbus devices.
