Development Of Communication Software For A Fieldbus Based-On Drilling Parameters Measurement System

The drilling system has a long history. Because of the complexity of its industry state, the development of measurement system is very slow. The application of fieldbus in drilling measurement will enhance anti-jamming competence and measurement precision, and will promote the development of drilling measurement system in the aspect of decentralization, network and intelligentize.The monitor software based on fieldbus is designed for drilling parameter measurement and it applies the HART and CAN bus to the drilling system. The software uses the language of Visual Basic and the SQL Server as the mode of database management. The software has several function modules which are initialization, display of real-time data, history data and picture, HART/CAN communication interface and equipments management. The signal of the sensor is passed from the interface of HART and CAN, then be dealt with by the computer, and at last the software has realized parameters measurement, computation, display, alarm, safe control,...
