A Study On The Spread Of Wechat Rumors In The Post-truth Era

The development of network technology and the maturity of social media platform provide a fair,free and pluralistic discourse environment for the people,and also bring the problems such as WeChat rumor breeding and so on.The arrival of the post-truth era has built a broad platform for the spread of WeChat rumors.At present,WeChat rumors have become a hot social issue to be solved urgently.Although the post-truth does not mean that WeChat rumors can be popular,the spread of WeChat rumors in the post-truth era has indeed changed.To study WeChat rumors in the background of post-truth age is to grasp the times requirements and inevitable trend of WeChat-Tumors spread change.This paper first defines the concepts of post-truth and WeChat rumors,and on this basis explores the relationship between post-truth and WeChat rumors.Then the author interprets the audience of WeChat rumors in the post-truth era,analyzes the spreading intention of the liar and the rumour through classic case analysis,and concludes that the audience characteristics of WeChat rumor are:cognitive limitation and indifference to the truth by means of questionnaire survey.Then,taking 2017-2018 as the node,167 hot WeChat rumors are selected,and the WeChat rumors are analyzed from three aspects:topic characteristics,narrative characteristics and discourse characteristics,and it is found that the content characteristics of WeChat rumors are emotionally biased.Finally,from the perspective of speculation,this paper puts forward the influence of WeChat rumor spread and recognizes it.In order to express social demands for WeChat rumors,promote the solution of problems,"force" the truth and other social functions,they have more social functions such as intensifying social contradictions,endangering social stability,disorder of public opinion,and people falling into an extreme mood.Disintegrating social trust system and other social harmfulness,and put forward WeChat rumor management suggestions.
