As the rapid development of Internet technology has led to the change of media landscape,a new type of idol has also come into the public's view because of the prosperity of social media – "Fostered Idol".Through the Internet thinking,the unilateral interaction mode of traditional fans' pursuit of idols has been transformed into the bilateral interaction between fans and idols.In the process of fostering idols,fans decide the idols' stay or left,upgrade and debut through voting and control their fates,thus gaining the initiative in the interaction.Therefore,fans leap from "star-chasers" to "star-makers".This unprecedented "star-making" experience has greatly aroused the enthusiasm of fans' participation,which has formed a unique mass cultural landscape,and has the value of investigation in the sense of communication.This paper chooses the fans group of TFBOYS as the case study object,based on the fan culture research,from the perspective of “the sense of identity”.This paper explores the relationship between the "secondary creation" of "Fostered Idol" fan groups,online and offline support,media use and the sense of identity of fan groups through online observation and in-depth interviews and other research methods.reflects on the phenomenon of "Fostered Idol" fans,and tries to put forward suggestions from the aspects of "star-making" industry and society,to guide teenagers fans to improve their media caliber and rationally express in the process of "pursuing stars".This paper is divided into four chapters.Firstly,this paper introduces the background and significance of the topic,defines the relevant concepts,and summarizes the relevant research literature.Chapter one introduces the origin of fostering and the development of "Fostered Idol",and the detailed process of nurturing TFBOYS and the framework of community formation of the fans.Chapter two divides the construction of active sense of identity into self-identity construction and group identity construction.Chapter three discusses "Fostered Idol" fans being constructed from technology,media and capital.Chapter four reflects on thephenomenon of "Fostered Idol" fans and puts forward specific suggestions.
