Design And Implementation Of An Online Bidding System

With the advent of the information age,the shortcomings of the traditional bidding process are becoming more and more obvious,and the demand for the transformation of the traditional bidding process to informatization and networking is becoming more and more intense.The significance and value of realizing online bidding are self-evident.Online bidding has turned the traditional offline bidding into a new form combining informatization and networking.Through the Internet,the relevant important roles in the whole bidding activities are connected together,which reduces the cost and improves the efficiency.Moreover,the information is open and transparent,ensuring fairness.After the investigation of the current situation of bidding process inland and abroad,and the analysis of the traditional bidding process,I decide to the implement an online bidding system,to solve the traditional bidding process problems which are complex,high cost,low efficiency and so on.I choose the B/S deployment architecture,and some technologies which are PHP and MYSQL to complete the system.Through the demand analysis of the system,in witch I confirm the background and the target to be completed.With analyzing the core processes which are Bid issuing,bidding and bid evaluation,the users involved in each stage of bidding were divided into the roles which are tenderer,bidder,bid evaluator and system administrator.After the corresponding analysis of system users,the next step is to analyze the system response time,the handling of errors,the recovery of abnormal situations and other performance problems.On the basis of demand analysis,the system module is divided and designed according to the function points,including bidding management,bidding management,bid evaluation management,bid winning management,document processing,information management,message management and other modules,and the detailed design of each module,including the design of the database table structure.Each module has clear boundaries,cohesive functions,mutual cooperation and common business goals.In completation of the system,I design and realize the user interface.Including login page,bidding management page,the evaluation and the bid management page and the user management page.And test the system.In this paper,the relevant environment of the whole system test,the basic design of test and the whole process of test are analyzed,and the corresponding test results are obtained.Through the realization of the online bidding system,the paper realizes the informatization of the bidding process,achieves the business objectives and achieves certain results.
