SCADA system, namely, data acquisition and monitoring control system, is widely used in electric power system. As upgrades and maintenance of traditional SCADA system become difficulty, poor system scalability problems gradually exposed, and the continuous development of Web technology, the trend of the SCADA system Web client is becoming more and more obvious. Therefore, this thesis will complete the design and implementation of a wind farm SCADA system based on SVG Web client. Finishing real-time monitoring through the jQuery/Ajax and completing monitoring picture configuration by configuring SVG. Thesis’s main work includes:This thesis points out the shortcomings of the current Web-based SCADA system on the basic of research and analysis of the current situation of domestic and foreign in this regardand the current common Web-based SCADA solution. Two key problems in Web-based SCADA system are pointed out. The one is how to refresh dynamic data in real time, and the other is how to display the configuration monitor screen.This thesis implements the Web client of SCADA system of wind farm with the Web development technologies such as jQuery/Ajax, SVG and REST Web service. The interface of data service provided by REST Web service meets the requirements of information sharing of SCADA system, meanwhile promotes the openness of the system. The part of monitor screen mainly includes the wind farm page, data list page, single page, performance page, etc. Through the jQuery/Ajax relize the real-time images, through the picture editor and configuration SVG to realize the page configurability.To meet the needs of engineering graphics configuration and reduce expenditure principle, this thesis needs to design and implement project rapid deployment. Namely, avoiding to repeat every production on SVG file editing. After successfully deployed a wind field so you don’t need to invest their resources to subsequent wind field picture editor. This thesis will design a solution of reference picture to eliminate repeated configuration overhead, thus achieve the objectives of the project picture rapid deployment.This Web Client’ monitor screen and project rapid deployment have been implemented to wind farm SCADA monitoring system and successfully applied. Results show that the client provides an effective solution for SCADA remote monitoring and information sharing.
