With the ever-changing information environment,the gradual popularization of network technology and the diversification of readers' needs,the librarians' working environment,working style and working contents have undergone tremendous changes,so the status and role of the library is being redefined.As the soul of library work and the core of career development,librarians are the key factors for the library to achieve practical development and great progress.Therefore,this study attempts to find out the status quo of college librarians' own professional cognition through the qualitative research,identify the elements of college librarians' professional cognition and the factors that hinder the enthusiasm of librarians.Firstly,this study searches the relevant literature on professional cognition of college librarians and summarizes the current research situation.Secondly,through semi-structured interviews with several librarians from many universities across the country,data analysis is carried out with grounded theory,and the professional cognition of college librarians is thoroughly studied through three procedures: open coding,spindle coding and selective coding.Finally,we can propose the corresponding optimization strategies based on the analysis results.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces the background and research significance of the thesis,the research summary at home and abroad,and the research content and methods.The second chapter makes a sample selection of the research objects and draws up the interview outline,and analyzes and theoretically summarizes the professional cognition of college librarians through the use of grounded theory.The third chapter describes the constituent elements and influencing factors of college librarians' professional cognition in the previous chapter,constructs the model of occupational cognitive factors,and briefly expounds the relationship among various factors.In the fourth chapter,through the analysis of the research results,we propose optimization strategies in order to enhance the sense of identity and happiness of the librarians.The fifth chapter summarizes and forecasts the research contents and conclusions of college librarians' professional cognition.
