The Research On The Development Of Provincial Media News APPs In Media Convergence Era

Profited from the progress of science and technology,the functions of mobile phones are constantly improved.Then,mobile phones occupy an important position in mass communication.At this fragmented and explosive information age,mobile phone users tend to receive fragmented information actively in a shorter time to meet their huge information needs.So,mobile news applications arise at this historic moment.Mobile news apps have the characteristics of diversified information sources,real-time information push,convenient social interaction and so on.However,the phenomenon of homogeneity is serious,and the competition between them is fierce and white-hot.Meanwhile,the users,needs are also showing a higher level and individuation.Provincial media news apps are responsible for guiding local public opinion,news publication and other multiple duties.At the same time,they have strong local characteristics in news content,user service and other aspects.Nowadays,with the advancement of technology,traditional medias have higher credibility,and emerging medias have broader channels of communication.Media convergence can absorb each others,advantages,integrate superior resources,expand brand influence and attract more sticky users.On January 25^th,2019,the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee held the 12th collective study in People's Daily on the era of all media and the development of media integration.At this collective study,General Secretary Xi Jinping delivered an important speech.He emphasized that media convergence should be further developed,mainstream public opinion should be strengthened,the common ideological basis for the unity,struggle of the whole Party and the whole nation should be consolidated,in order to provide strong spiritual strength and public opinion to support for the realization of the two centenary goals,and the realization of the Chinese dream of the great nation renewal.So,promoting media convergence has become an urgent issue for us.What is the status of provincial media mobile news applications under the background of media convergence?How can them develop successfully in the future?Thus,we take a heavy burden and embark on a long road.Only by studying intensively and rethinking profoundly,can we get effective countermeasures.This paper chooses the Shangyou news mobile app in Chongqing province-level municipality,the Pengpai news mobile app in Shanghai province-level municipality,the Zhejiang news mobile application in Zhejiang Province,and the Lizhi news mobile application in Jiangsu Province,which are influential and representative news apps in China,as the research objects to establishes a comparative matrix at the same level.This paper mainly adopts case analysis method,content analysis method and interview investigation method to explore these four news applications,to systematically study the content construction and operation of provincial media news apps in the era of media convergence,in order to analyze their problems,and to put forward countermeasures to promote the development of provincial media news apps.The first chapter is the introduction part,which includes research background,research purpose,research significance,literature review,content framework,research methods,research innovation and shortcomings.The second chapter of the text is about the development of news applications,which mainly introduces the concept and technology of news apps,the development,characteristics and trends of the news apps in China.And it includes the position,classification and development process of Chinese provincial media news applications.The third chapter of the text is about the content construction and operation of provincial media mobile news applications.The fourth chapter is about the problems and countermeasures for the development of provincial media news applications in the era of media convergence.Finally,the conclusion of this paper summarizes the research results.
