Research On The Change Of Journalists Expressions On China's "Journalists' Day" From 2000 To 2018

Since 2000,the State Council officially approved and agreed to set November8 th,the date of the founding of the China Association of Journalists,as Journalist's Day,the Journalist's Day has already passed 19 years.In addition to safeguarding the rights and interests of journalists and highlighting the importance of profession,the“Journalists' Day” provides a good public discussion platform for journalists to focus on the "professional skills" of news products and news production,professional standards such as "behavioral norms","evaluation criteria",and "journalistic ethics","belief",which not only promotes the convergence of the consensus of the press and the construction of journalism values,but also promotes the specialization and professionalism of journalism in China.With the development of media technology,traditional media has gradually fallen,the "authority,mystery and even mission and value" of journalists have been subverted.The legitimate foundations of media organizations and professional journalists has under attack.The values ??and emotions of journalists has changed obviously.The Journalists' Day discourse is a vivid material that pays attention to the professional role,norms and Journalism Ideality.This article has conducted a diachronic study on the expressions of the journalist since the establishment of the journalists' Day in 2000.To find out how professional idea and media landscape of journalists changed while they came from "Golden Age" and withness Media convergence,transformation and encountered the winter of news industry,thereby showing the ups and downs of the chinese journalist and the development track of the news industry.This study conducts content analysis and discourse analysis on the collected 652Journalist's Day discourse.At the surface level,with the development of the We-Media,the number of media people's discourse has increased significantly,the management and industry elites are still the main writing part,the topic of Journalists 's attention extends from the news itself to the problem of media Journalists 's survival and way out.From the middle level,the practice of journalist'sdiscourse in Chinese journalists is actually the practice of “Journalistic Ideality”.The Journalistic Ideality are constantly adjusted and constructed based on different media environments.The whole process is divided into three stages: the first stage is 2000 to2007: the symbolic inheritance and meaning-giving period of Journalistic Ideality;the second phase is 2008-2012: emergency report accelerated the "specialization" and "professionalization" process of the news industry;the third stage is 2013-2018:period of media people's value dilemma and reconstruction of journalists mission.In these three stages,the journalists constantly adjust the " Ideality " construction strategy with the changes of market,policy and media technology: Strategies such as "inheritance/inheritance" Journalistic Ideality,"reporting sudden and sensational events" respectively to maintain vocation value,reaffirm the significance and justification of journalists by professional discoursing.However,as time passes,the "ideal feelings " based on individual existence cannot keep up with social changes,while the Ideality that form of collectivism,the sense of journalism mission has become the mainstream Journalistic Ideality.
