Construction Of Discourse Analysis Theory In The Discipline Of Journalism And Communication

The social science study has received serious challenge from social reality with rapid progress,which is also the case of journalism and communication from medialized society.Among all the corresponding policies,the introduction of discourse analysis is becoming one of focused view in the development of journalism and communication.Obviously,brief introduction is not enough.The key lies in how discourse analysis can cope with journalistic and communicative reality and melt in theoretical system of journalism and communication.Hence,theoretical study of discourse analysis in journalism and communication must experience the course from brief introduction to discipline transition,which will be hard and arduous.First,the complicated theory of discourse analysis needs a clear and orderly systematic study.Second,the discourse analysis theory should be reexamined and reanalyzed in the view of journalism and communication.Finally,the work should fulfill the journalistic and communicative reality so as to achieve revision of and supplement to discourse analysis theory in from journalistic and communicative angle.According to the above,the present dissertation does its work in three aspects. Firstly,it classifies the existing discourse analysis theories in terms of common criteria and internal logic in the view of collective discourse activities process. Secondly,it examines potential,limitation and prospect of present discourse analysis theory in journalism and communication on the ground of practical,scientific and independent characteristics of journalism and communication.Thirdly,on the basis the previous two jobs,it establishes preliminary construction of discourse analysis theory in journalism and communication on the basis of journalistic and communicative reality and orientation,integrating Bourdieu's symbol power theory in practice,Max Weber's "ideal type" study method and latest "journalistic particle" theory.The dissertation is divided into five parts.
