This study takes the journalists of mainstream media in Yunnan as the research object,and presents the complexity of the professional role cognition and identity of journalists in Yunnan in the new era through in-depth interviews,and analyzes and reflects on the causes of this complexity.The development of the historical environment in different periods has formed the cognition and recognition of the professional role of journalists in China.This role cognition is influenced by the Marxist view of journalism and by the journalism professionalism introduced by the West.In the new historical stage,the media industry faces both the challenges of new media and traditional media,as well as the development opportunities that are highly valued by media at the national level.The role recognition of journalists' professions has become more vague and complicated.External pressures such as market competition,salary level,professional assessment and workplace environment and personal anxiety about career future planning and vocational skills improvement also constitute a complex environment for the growth of journalists'professional roles,and the formation of identity and individual occupations The historical background of growth is related to the differences in the pursuit of different stages of life.In the case of multiple stressors and standard ambiguities,it is difficult to meet and realize the individual's perception of professional roles.The shaping of professional identity is based on the instinct to make a living.The establishment of professional identity mainly relies on vulgar news and bad journalists.Resist and resist,loyalty and identity are relatively low.
