The rapid development of social media has changed the way people communicate and live.WeChat is a social software released by tencent in2011.WeChat friend circle is an important function of WeChat,which has been widely loved by the audience since it was launched in April 2012.So far,WeChat friends circle has become an important channel for people to socialize and plays an important role in People's Daily life.Users can publish text,pictures,video and articles or music that are linked to other platforms in the moments to record daily life,express social attitudes and express emotions,Therefore,the circle of friends provides a brand new platform for people to show themselves.Users can not only "express self-identity",that is,through the circle of friends to show the "real self";But also can "construct self-identity",that is,through the circle of friends to shape the "ideal self".Compared with "expression of self-identity","construction of self-identity" is a more complicated process of information transmission.In order to analyze how people in the circle of friends through information dissemination to shape the "ideal" self to achieve the construction of self-identity,The research methods of literature review,observation,text analysis and interview are adopted,Using interpersonal communication theory and self-identity theory to analyze the characteristics of friend circle as a new platform for self-presentation,Exploring the strategy selection of WeChat users in the circle of friends for information dissemination and what kind of self-image they expect to build in the hearts of others in the circle of friends.According to the interview with WeChat friends circle users,users adopt the "idealization" strategy,"mystification performance" strategy and "remedy" strategy inthe information dissemination in the circle of friends,and choose the information dissemination strategy to construct the ideal self-image in the circle of friends platform,so as to improve or deepen self-identity.At the same time,it also analyzes the "self-identity" problem in WeChat circle of friends information transmission,hoping to provide some Suggestions for WeChat users in the circle of friends information presentation.
