With the proposal of "made in China 2025" strategy,domestic traditional manufacturing industry is facing a positive transformation and upgrading.However,the domestic tire manufacturing industry still has the problem of low informatization and poor real-time monitoring.The root cause of this problem is the lack of effective information interaction between the upper management system and the underlying control system in the tire manufacturing industry,resulting in the fault of information connection and the formation of "information island".It is the key to realize the informatization of manufacturing industry that MES(Manufacturing Execution System)is put forward and implemented effectively to build a bridge between ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning)and PCS(Process Control System)and fill in the gap between them.The tire is the typical representative of traditional manufacturing industry,and the embryo molding is an important procedure in the process of tire production.As the specific equipment of the tire forming process,the tire forming machine determines the quality of the embryo and the whole production beat.According to the actual situation of enterprises and the specific requirements of on-site production,the following research is made for the machine equipment.(1)In this paper,the control system of the PCS layer is using rockwell ControlLogix integrated architecture on the basis of the tyre forming machine equipment.The real-time monitoring system of using the virtual instrument development platform LabVIEW as the core,is the terminal for data collection of PCS.(2)This paper analyzes the main network communication scheme and the construction strategy,and completes the design of the hierarchical structure of network integration system.The communication mode of industrial Ethernet and the network topology of "star+ ring" are determined,and the information interaction design of each network layer is realized.(3)According to the molding workshop to analyze the functional requirements of MES system.The information interaction between the PCS layer and the MES layer is realized through LabVEIW remote access to Oracle database.Gaining the related knowledge of MES system,including how to realize the automatic forming machine of the materials needed by MES system transportation,automatic distribution of production process,feeding error protected,OEE calculation,etc,to improve the application of MES in tire manufacturing.(4)The monitoring system which has powerful function and friendly interface,can collect the data of the mainframe equipment,realize the data interaction with MES system,direct the actual production,and realize the expected function of MES system in the molding workshop.After this system was put into use in the tire factory,it proved that the machine monitoring system based on virtual instrument is robust and good,and the equipment operation data is collected in real time and accurate,and it is highly integrated with the manufacturing execution system.The integration of monitoring system and MES system not only promotes the forming machine equipment production efficiency,information,intelligence,but also makes the molding workshop production is planned and targeted,in addition,improves the production efficiency.
