In modern society,video surveillance plays an increasingly important role.From private places such as homes and communities to public places such as roads and stations,video surveillance enables people to intuitively know what is happening and make decisions quickly.The application of video surveillance has penetrated into all aspects of people's lives.It is obvious that research on video surveillance systems is very important.This thesis designs and implements an embedded video monitoring system based on ARM.The HI3518 E is the main control chip.The original video data collected by the AR0130 camera module is compressed by the improved H.264 video coding technology through the WIFI network.It can be played on the client of the PC through Real-time streaming protocol(RTSP)Firstly,this thesis introduces the existing H.264 video coding technology,expounds the principle,advantages,characteristics,and the two functions of interframe coding and intraframe coding of H.264 coding technology,the method is improved to overcome the disadvantages of large number of prediction modes and complex coding in intraframe coding.Secondly,this thesis design from both hardware and software aspects.The hardware part mainly includes the minimum system,WIFI module,camera module,button module,indicator light module and USB interface module,among which the minimum system includes the main control module,power module,reset module and clock module.The software part mainly introduces the layered software architecture of the system,the establishment of the system software development environment,the transplantation of WIFI driven and Sensor driven,the function and implementation of the media processing platform MPP,and the streaming transmission of video data through the real-time streaming protocol RTSP,which completes the video monitoring system's video monitoring function.The system software development environment setup includes the installation of Linux operating system,the configuration of virtual network environment,the installation of VIM,TFTP,NFS and other servers,the setup of serial port environment,the installation of cross-compilation toolchain,the burning of environment images such as uboot and kernel.Finally,experimental tests,analysis and comparison are carried out.The experimental results show that the improved video coding technology makes the network video surveillance system greatly reduce the computational complexity of mode selection,effectively slow down the pressure of video acquisition and transmission,and has a wide range of practical applications value.Figure [54] table [5] reference [53]...
