With the development of computer technology,processor performance,network bandwidth,video coding algorithm has been greatly improved,video surveillance system relies on them to be rapid development,application areas are also deep into the people's lives in every corner,for video Monitoring system research is particularly necessary.This paper designs a kind of embedded network video monitoring system based on Hi3518E.Firstly,the development process,research status and future development direction of video surveillance system are analyzed.Followed by hardware and software from the two angles to complete the system design.The hardware part mainly involves the camera module selection,the ARM processor profile and the Hi3518E chip characteristic,the wireless network card,the Flash,the DDR and so on.The software part mainly introduces the software hierarchy of the system.And then completed the transplant of embedded Linux,including u-boot-2010.06 startup process and transplantation process,the Linux kernel features,configuration and migration principles and linux-3.4.y transplant process,squashfs root file system specific production process.And then introduced the management of the ISP under the Haisi platform,ISP part of the code to complete the bottom of the system sensor settings for the application interface,on the basis of the use of Linux system,multi-threaded technology to complete the system application design and focus The principle of the motion detection module and the realization process of the code are analyzed.Finally,the components of TUTK platform and its working principle,audio and video streaming and control information are transmitted under TUTK platform.The transmission process and related protocols of video stream in video surveillance system are introduced,including UDP,RTP,RTCP and RTSP,and audio Flow of the transmission process.Finally,the process of controlling the code part of the control information is analyzed emphatically,and the contrast map before and after the video screen is given.
