With the growing increasing of embedded technology,video processing technology and wireless network technology,video monitoring system is developing towards embedded wireless video monitoring system.Compared with the traditional video monitoring system,it has the advantages of small volume,stable operation,cutability,etc.In the future,embedded wireless video monitoring is an important development direction in the field of video monitoring.Therefore,this thesis designs and realizes the embedded OpenWrt wireless video monitoring system based on Indoor Security and wireless WiFi video transmission technology.The main work of this thesis is as follows:1?Starting from the research background and significance of video monitoring system fistly,this thesis analyzes the development status and application prospect at domestic and foreign,and researches the current market.Then,by analyzing the demand of the function and performance of the project and the feasibility of the related technology,The overall design scheme of embedded OpenWrt wireless video monitoring is put forward.2?This thesis adopts the RT5350 development board with MIPS 24 Kc core processor as the hardware platform,embedded OpenWrt router operating system as the software development platform,and combined with USB camera with no need drive,MJPEG-Streamer video server software based on V4L2 interface,WiFi technology,designing and implementing embedded wireless video monitoring system based on OpenWrt(based on Linux kernel).In the aspect of hardware design,the modular design is adopted,which includes three modules: wireless communication module(hardware development platform),video monitoring module(USB camera)and client module(mobile phone/computer).In the aspect of software design,I transplanted OpenWrt system on the hardware platform and added the LuCI Web interface.Aimming at video capture,I writted UVC driver and V4L2 interface driver.I transplant MJPEG-Streamer video server software based on V4L2 interface in development board,which is used as video acquisition and transmission.Through the WiFi network setted by hardware platform,the MJPEG-Streamer software transfersthe image frame to the client in the way of web.Users need only a mobile phone /computer to realize video monitoring.3?The test results show that the system is running stable.Mobile phones and computers can be connected to the WiFi sent by the system,and the users can clearly and fluently watch video by video monitoring software in mobile phones and web browsers in computers.The embedded wireless video monitoring system designed in this thesis can basically achieve the expected objectives of the project.
