With the popularization of mobile intelligent terminal and the development of information technology,the user-oriented internet information products,such as APP.were invented.The advent of mobile internet era has changed the way of information communication.The traditional role of users in information communication has been altered.Information communication begins to demonstrate fragmentization tendency.Museums,as non-profit institutions functions with public education,play an important role in cultural heritage conservation and knowledge communication.In such context,it is urgent for the museums to fuse with the internet and to reform the traditional way of communication.In recent years,APP has dominated the market with its advatages and become the main access for internet information.Museum APP has also become the important method to realize online information communication.This paper focuses on the study of the application value of museum APP.The author adopts literature research method,case analysis and logic research.After the review of the current literatures,the author first analyses the information communication features in the internet context.From the perspective of user participation and user right,combined with the museum concept evolution and communication need,the practical and theoretical value of musem APP is summarised.Then,the paper sums up the fragmented information communication and points out its influence on audience and traditional industries.The complementary relationship between museum APP and fragmented communication has been testified.Thus the communication value of museum APP in fragmented cmmunication should be verified.Finally,based on theoretical derivation,combined with the related theories and cases from cognitive psychology,epistemology,art theory and design,the writer states the application values of museum APP and concludes its value as user conitive value,cultural inheritance value,brand value and commercial value.At the end of the paper,the research results and views have been generalized and the future reseach suggestedThrough the study on the application value of museum APP,the author aims at offering proposals and reflection for the development of museum APP,assisting the integration of culture heritage into people's daily information life,and futher promoting the public education of museums.
