Large metal atmospheric vertical oil storage tanks are indispensable oil storage equipment in oil fields,oil plants and oil transmission stations.Corrosion leakage of oil storage tanks is the main form of operation failure.Corrosion perforation leakage of tank bottom caused by gravity is the most common cause of tank failure.In order to ensure the safe operation of the tank in the next cycle,the main method is to detect the corrosion state of the tank bottom.This has also become one of the main indicators in the process of corrosion detection of oil storage tanks,so the corrosion state of the tank bottom is the decisive factor to determine whether the tank can operate safely.As a large steel storage tank,oil tank is prone to welding deformation and welding seam factors during the welding process,which lead to corrosion of oil tank.At the same time,staff need to analyze and evaluate the corrosion regularity of oil storage tank on-line and judge the reliability of oil storage tank in order to make reasonable maintenance before corrosion leakage occurs.In this paper,the detection principle of the ultrasonic tank bottom corrosion detection robot and the whole development process of the upper computer operating system are introduced in detail.Aiming at the method of corrosion detection for oil tank bottom by using ultrasonic testing technology,the characteristics of ultrasonic propagation and ultrasonic testing method are studied.The DEMO code of CTS-PA22X-8UT multi-channel ultrasonic system is redeveloped,the ultrasonic data is processed,and the data of the lower computer is read and transmitted by establishing a connection with the background SQL database.Acoustic echo curve and tank bottom thickness curve can be visualized in real time.The trajectory of the tank bottom detection robot is simulated,and the robot's walking is controlled.By judging the threshold value of tank bottom thickness,a sketch map of defect distribution in tank bottom detection is generated.Thickness measurement experiments of 12 mm thick steel plate and 18 mm thick steel plate are carried out respectively for ultrasonic testing.The ultrasonic testing data are processed and the thickness of the steel plate is calculated.The original echo curve of the ultrasonic wave is denoised by wavelet transform,and the peak point is extracted by Hilbert transform.The thickness of the steel plate is calculated.The signal-to-noise ratio of the denoised ultrasonic signal is obvious.As a result,the calculated thickness of the tested steel plate is basically consistent with the actualthickness of the steel plate.In this paper,MFC is used to study the corrosion detection operation system of oil tank bottom.The advantage of ultrasonic nondestructive testing is effectively used to analyze the thickness of oil tank bottom.The corrosion defect of oil tank bottom is judged by the change of thickness value,which provides a new online detection method for corrosion detection of oil tank bottom.
