Tank Automatic Measurement And System Realization

Research of Automatic Gauging for Storage Tanks and the Implement of the System[Abstract] In order to accelerate gauging technology for storage tanks toward automation in our country,it is necessary to develop the automatic gauging system for storage tanks. The system should be required low cost and high accuracy. In this paper , the core of the technology is discussed .which includes fieldbus technology, HART communication protocol , measurement methods and computation for storage tanks. HART communication protocol is applied in the system. It is suggested that HTG will become the main method of the gauging for storage tanks in our country based on the analysis of the measurement methods in this paper. HTG has its own problem , but the solution is found and its computation is showed in this paper. Finally, the implement of the automatic gauging system for storage tanks and the application of the above technologies in the system are introduced in this paper.
