Power line communication refers to the communication mode that uses distribution lines as the medium for data transmission.At present,this technology is mainly used in the fields of remote meter reading system,start home,fire alarming,street lamp control and so on.Because of the advantages of low maintenance cost,wide distribution,no rewiring and easy access,power line communication has a huge potential market and has become a focus of attention and research from all walks of life.As the most mature industry standards,G.hn protocol and IEEE 1901 protocol have been widely applied in Europe and the United States,but they are not suitable for domestic complex electricity environment leading to incompatibility issues in domestic applications.Therefore,it is necessary to study and formulate mechanisms and schemes of power line carrier communication in line with national conditions considering the domestic electricity environment and demands.This thesis chooses the low-voltage power line broadband carrier communication technology specification to conduct research,and simulates its data link layer mechanisms on the platform built by the research group.On the basis of that,the performance is estimated according to the simulation results and optimization schemes are proposed.Firstly,the logical topology and protocol stack of the low-voltage power line broadband carrier communication technology specification are briefly introduced,and the related mechanisms of data link layer are analyzed,including channel access,data encapsulation and transmission,the networking of single network and so on.Secondly,the overall architecture,interfaces and main function modules of MAC layer protocol basic simulation platform are analyzed,and the data link layer simulation system of low-voltage power line broadband carrier communication technology specification is designed based on the simulation platform,which achieves the beacon cycle planning,the mechanism of CSMA/CA multiple access method,the data transmission mechanism,the networking of single network,as well as the packets forwarding mechanism based on routing.Then,the simulation of networking process is completed to verify the correctness of the design of the system and to test the performance of networking.The simulation work is carried out under a number of different test cases which are designed according to the topology structure,network size,white list configuration and the beacon cycle length.The performance of the networking process is measured by indexes such as time-consuming and beacon cycle utilization.The performance of protocol is evaluated and proposals are put forward upon the analysis of simulation results.Finally,according to the problem that network can't be rapidly recovered with existing networking mechanism after its power failure or restart,a tree topology network restoration method based on central node control is proposed.The performance of the method is verified based on the simulation platform,and its test results are compared with the performance of networking.The simulation results show that compared with the networking process,the proposed medthod has the advantages of less time consumption and high efficient,and it can realize the fast recovery of the network.
