Power line carrier communication is a kind of exclusive communication way of electric power communication,which has been widely used in medium and lower voltage distribution network automation system.However,In order to solve the short distance of carrier communication,small coverageand,poor communication performance and so on,it is needed to network the carrier terminals to extend communication distance and coverage,thus improving the stability of system.In this paper,taking the characteristics of medium voltage PLC communication into consideration,we analyze the characteristics of medium voltage power line,such as channel noise,impedance,attenuation and frequency.Then we analyze the disadvantages of the traditional network mode by studying medium voltage PLC communication network mode,which provides the theoretical foundation of Agent based power line carrier communication network research.Through analyzing the traditional power line carrier network,a novel network mode is proposed to improve the reliability and performance of carrier communication.First,we put forward a cross band adaptive carrier frequency selective method,which utilizes the channel cognition of leading sequence as the core technology.In the method,specific implementation framework and steps are given.Second,Agent power line carrier communication model is set up.Considering the ideas of Agent and Zig Bee tree routing address allocation algorithm,we propose Agent based medium voltage power line carrier communication networking method.Utilizing the techniques of node hierarchy,time division multiplexing and data frame synchronization,the method realizes the node ad-hoc network and establishes the routing table.In the research,we design the communication protocol,the procedure and specific steps.Besides,after simulating the network implementation process,the reliability and performance of the new network structure is analyzed.Finally,the proposed method is tested in Shaoxing and Xinchang County.We verify the network effect and the performance of communication in different times and on different lines.Experimental results show that the proposed method effectively realize automatic networking and dynamic relay,and improve the reliability and performance of power line carrier communication.
