With the development of smart grid and Internet,Power Line Communication(PLC),as a candidate communication technology for these network systems,has received extensive attention.PLC has the characteristics of convenient to use,easy to deploy and wide distribution,and has been gradually applied in many fields,such as people's production and life.However,the power line was originally designed for transmission power,not for network communication.In addition,there are serious signal fading and strong noise interference in the power line channel.This makes the PLC environment very bad,and the performance analysis of the PLC system becomes a problem that needs to be solved urgently in this field.For this purpose,the analysis of transmission rate,interruption probability and channel capacity of PLC channel with impulsive noise is studied in this paper,and the main results obtained are as follows:(1)Aiming at the characteristics of channel fading and impulsive noise in the PLC channel,a PLC channel model is established.Then,a PLC channel simulation scheme based on Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA)is proposed.And this scheme can be used to simulate the channel and noise of the PLC.(2)According to the characteristics of the impulsive noise in the PLC channel,the Poisson process is introduced to analysis the PLC channel,and a memoryless PLC channel model is established.First,we use Shannon theorem to calculate the upper and lower bounds of the transmission rate of the channel.Then we analyze the probability distribution of the received SNR,and finally derive the transmission rate,outage probability and channel capacity of the system.The simulation results verify the correctness of the derived results.(3)The Markov chain is introduced to model the impulsive noise in the PLC channel,and the memory PLC channel model is established.The analysis method of memory channel in finite state is put forward to deduce the transmission rate,interruption probability and ergodic capacity of this channel.The simulation results verify the correctness of the theoretical derivation.Finally,the full text work and deficiencies are summarized,and the further research is discussed and prospected.
